How does NASA do it?
April 12, 2012Have you ever wondered how NASA creates such beautiful and stunning colored images from space? Well, the secret is out! NASA uses Adobe Photoshop.
NASA uses time lapsed videos to create such visual as demonstrating and reconstructing a Hubble panorama of the spiral galaxy NGC 3982. They take data from seven different grayscale images of the galaxy and combine them into one image that then goes through a color retouching and editing process before it is released. This process often takes up to 10 hours to complete before the video is deemed ready to be viewed by the public.
